The Production And Development Of Sun Huifen's Novel

As a female writer come from Dalian,Sun Huifen knocked the door of literary world with short story Jing Zuo Xi Chuang published at Haiyan literary magazine in1982.From then on,in her process of creation over 30 years,she took the southern countryside as background,depicted the lands which gave birth to her and brought her up with heart and soul,and described the earthy smelled peasants who had clinging faith in life at the same time.Forming her own style in the constant exploration,gaining the attention and acception of literary circle little by little.With weak links in the present researches,this paper adopts the method of systematic study,at the base of comprehensive reading of Sun Huifen's novels,self-recounts,interviews,periodical comments,academic papers and other existing informations,and widely reading interrelated literatures,take some of her full-length novels as example,exploring her novel creation and development.In the hope of making a integrated summarization of her novel creation.This paper is divided into four parts as below:The first chapter,life experience and the construction of novels.In view of Sun Huifen's personal experience,exploring the extrinsic motive and internal factor that,why she made her writing back towards countryside after making great efforts to take root in metropolis.At the same time,exploring the influences of creation that her unique life experience brought about,that is,panoramically revealing the daily prospect of life depositing in rural land,with her tender feelings and ardently love of homeland from beginning to end.The second chapter,the constant exploration and the development of creation.By analyzing Sun Huifen's productions at different periods,summarizing the changes in her writing.For instance,in manifestation mode,instead of writing at her option,she makes more efforts to artistically construct her works.In character creation,instead of depicting the images of a group of characters,she is more willing to moulding typical images.In main idea,instead of laying particular emphasis on expressing the style and features of rural areas,she takes more thought of confronting the poignant social issues.Illustrated by the example from these three aspects,analyzing the developments of Sun Huifen's novel writing.The third chapter,the invariant factors in changes.After analyzing Sun Huifen's writing,we can find that,when asking for changes,there are some of contents and propositions that she is willing to reveal all the time.For example,in the aspect of characters,she is willing to depict different individual lives who have similar pursuance for dreams.In the aspect of theme,centre on the proposition of leaving,she expresses countrymen's aspiration of leaving hometown in numerous productions,as well as the pains they have.Furthermore,be affected by individual temperament,she shows the thought of foreordination in different works repeatedly.Some of her insistence are successful,however,we can find some problems in the repetitive description of similar characters and events.Epilogue,summarizing the special significance of a series of Sun Huifen's productions,that is,besides creating a characteristic southern countryside,she concentrates on exploring inward world of rural lives.What's more,the certain historical significance in her productions is worth to pay attention for.
