Min Huifen is an influential erhu performance artist in Chinese folk music.This article aiming at displaying the guiding ideology contained in Min Huifen's artistic practice in his life and its profound influence on contemporary folk music.As an artist who has experienced the future at the turn of the century,Min Huifen has witnessed the continuous development of erhu art.As an important representative of contemporary Chinese national instrumental music,his performing,creating,transmitting,imparting and inheriting artistic acts and artistic thoughts will influence the world of Chinese music from generation to generation.In the process of the discussion,the first chapter mainly introduces the growing environment of Min Huifen and the background of his music learning,and analyzes and expounds the external music environment that influences his musical art characteristics and musical thoughts from the historical facts.It is believed that Min Huifen's professional erhu art education and folk art have been taught since childhood and he has played a subtle role in whether he continues to practice the practice of "improving national music" by Mr.Liu Tianhua or carries out artistic creation after that.It has laid the foundation for the later art road.The second chapter mainly discusses Min Huifen's pursuit of Erhu art nationality,the artistic exploration of "instrumental vocalization" and the innovation and breakthrough of playing techniques,as well as the embodiment of nationality in music creation.It is believed that Min Huifen 's traditional culture,which he maintains during the process of "improving national music”'s pursuit of nationality,has enabled Min Huifen to open up a new era of Chinese erhu art.The third chapter mainly discusses Min Huifen's theoretical thinking on the nationalization of erhu art.Through the analysis and induction of his theoretical works,the author concludes that the nationalization of the erhu art by Min Huifen is based on the background of the thought of the traditional culture and art,which is the theoretical crystallization with high degree.The fourth chapter focuses on the spiritual connotation of Min Huifen's erhu art and his influence on contemporary national instrumental music as a generation of folk music masters.His strenuous artistic pursuit and excellence of the artistic quality play important guiding and exemplary roles on the development of the national musical instrument now and later.Through the explanation of the erhu art of Min Huifen and the interpretation of “Min Huifen Spirit”,we can deeply feel the outstanding contribution made by Min Huifen to the Chinese national instrumental music.His music aesthetic thought and the musical opinion of erhu playing art are the bridge between erhu playing art and Chinese traditional music culture.It has opened up a development road full of historical value and practical significance for the development of contemporary Chinese erhu art.
