Liling is the R&D place and production base of five colors under glaze ceramic,and it is also an important ceramic export base in China.The centuried five colors under glaze ceramic dinner-ware has won fame both at home and abroad by its superior quality and elegant shape.There are many different brands of five colors under glaze ceramic dinner-ware but it lacks distinct brand image to express its deep temperament features and culture connotation.Brand is one of the core competitiveness of enterprises and brand visual image is an invisible bond between products and consumers and focus of the brand competition.Therefore,the visual image design of Liling five colors under glaze ceramic dinner-ware is particularly important.By mainly using methods of literature and field investigation and assisted by comparative analysis and survey,this paper makes systematic analysis,study and arrangement of the brand idea and visual image design of enterprises of Liling five colors under glaze ceramic dinner-ware.Through field research it compares the visual image design of ceramic brands home and abroad,aiming to find out ontology visual language which contains both the inherent spirit of Liling five colors under glaze ceramic dinner-ware brand : the iron hand in the velvet glove,pure and elegant,and traditional painting skills.This paper has three parts.First,it makes clear the internal link,involved range and component elements of brand concept and brand visual image concept,which is the theoretical foundation of this study.In addition,it makes analysis and comparison of the brand concept and brand visual image of well-known ceramic dinner-ware at home and abroad;Second,it visits and makes field investigation of the status of five colors under glaze ceramic dinner-ware brands at Lingling in terms of brand concept and brand visual image,then by making summary and analysis of the present condition of five colors under glaze ceramic dinner-ware brands,it points out the problems and tries to find out countermeasures and solutions.Third,it gives countermeasures to brand concept of Liling five colors under glaze ceramic dinner-ware and offers designing idea and method of brand visual image,aiming to discover its unique temperament and connotation.This targeted research can increase additional value of Liling five colors under glaze ceramic dinner-ware brand and customers' loyalty to it.In addition,it will support sustainable development of regional economy and provide actual reference value.
