Research On The Poetry Of Hong Kuo In The Southern Of Song Dynasty

The family of Hong Kuo was famous for patriotic and knowledgeable in Southern of Song Dynasty, which was in Poyang. Hong Hao and his sons went to Jin Dynasty and took back the peace between the two sides.Hong Kuo,as the eldest son of Hong Hao,had frequent exchanges with family members like Hong Zun,Hong Mai. All of The Poems in Song Dynasty reserved 796 poems, modern style poems was much more than ancient one, the number of Jueju was as many as Lvshi. But his ancient poems were distinctive,reflected the landscape of poemsy after the noted innovation in the Northern of Song Dynasty.The first part of the article introduces Hong Kuo`s family and his life situation,as well as the influence from his family.Hong Kuo supported the big family when he was 13, and experienced a lot of setbacks and sufferings, which provided so much reliable contents.The second part of article writes the subject contents of poetry, poetry thought and his creation.The poems could be divided into four classes,namely the national economy and people’s livelihood, poems feelings, poetic thesis. His poems style mainly for Lvshi, and this technique had also been reflected in the other verses.Poetry contained and expressed much emotion,that maybe called the representation of poetry. The language of poetry was concise and simple,but contained rich meanings.The third part focuses on introducing his poetry claims and artistic features of poetry.His poetry claims could be summarized for three aspects as attaches great importance to the rules,rich in content,and emotional.He advocated He Xun,Yin Keng,Du Fu,Huang Tingjian etc.Those men were mentioned in his poems.Hong Kuo considered that learning poem should not learn one`s form but spirit. What was more, he insisted the principle of laying a solid foundation on the creation, strive for newly against deliberately.Hong Kuo liked using function words, which made sentences natural and fluent, and pay attention to the structure of poems.On the choice of imagery, he liked wrote stone,mountain,bamboo,rain,flowers,trees grass into the poem, created a peaceful and quiet artistic conception.On the language of poetry, he tended to choose short and relish expression.On the poetic style, he loved surprisingly, forthright and lively styles as Mei Yaochen.The fourth part of article aims to analysis the reasons for the formation of Hong Kuo`s poetry artistic features.This article analyzes them mainly from the family factors, cultural factors and political factors three aspects, then explores his poetry thoughts and the of the origin artistic characteristics.When the family was rich, it turned to education,and cared about imperial examinations with strict training, Hong Hao had been Jin Dynasty for a long time, so actually the family education was accomplished by Hong Kuo, so that he was good at writing poems and verses.In addition, he kept the close connection with persons who were in Jiangxi poetry and neo-confucianism.The poetry in general characteristic of the Southern of Song Dynasty was that writing poem as article, rational interest,describing the daily life and expressing personal emotion, these were absorbed and reflected in his poems.Finally, the article summarizesHong Kuo`s poetry ideological content, artistic characteristics and its origin, as well as his influence on later poets.
