Research On The Relationship Between The Film Score Websites And Movie Box Office

In recent years, with the rapid development of the Chinese film market, the media, producers, audiences pay more and more attention to movie websites scores.At present, scholars still cannot prove the films at the box office caused by the movie score directly, not only that, the related research of film websites rating in academic field is still very limited.In this paper, through text analysis and data contrast methods on the relationship between the score and the box office for more in-depth.The first chapter of this paper mainly introduces the background and significance of the topic, research status and research methods.The second chapter summarizes the development of the world's largest film scoring website IMDb and its scoring mechanism, and focuses on the key research object of this paper: Douban and its score types.The third chapter is the key point of this article, through the historical data and comparison, summed up the relationship between the film score and the box office.The fifth chapter gives some suggestions on the existing problems of the film industry.
