A Study On Film Art Magazine From The Perspective Of Film History

"Film Art" was originally named "Chinese Film".It was published in October1956.It is a comprehensive professional film publication.It was renamed "Cinema Art" in July 1959.In 1966,it was forced to start because of the "cultural revolution" Discontinued.Twelve years after the publication was suspended,it was formally re-published in October 1979 and has been so far.As one of the most important theoretical journals in today's film academia,film magazines are not only recording the development of Chinese films,but also participating in the development of films in different ways.The research scope of this article is mainly defined in the sixty-three years from the founding of "Film Art" from 1956 to 2019.Through the analysis and induction of some representative academic events,academic phenomena,and academic events in the magazine,the development process is further realized.The various roles that magazines play in the development of Chinese film,and try to figure out the contribution that this successful academic journal has made to the Chinese film academics and film industry in a certain period of time.At the same time,it analyzes the feasibility of "Film Art" as the academic contention of "Film School".This paper is divided into the following six areas:The introductory part of the first chapter is aimed at the problems to be discussed in this article.It collects the current research status of "Film Art" magazine,domestic famous film magazines and current film publishing.The second chapter analyzes the literary and artistic environment,article content,and author's situation during the period from 1956 to 1958,and completes the contribution of Film Art to the film industry,film history,and film review during this period.Mainly through three major research methods,combined with the social environment at the same time,analysis.The third chapter is the changes that have taken place since the 1979-1989 reissue of "Film Art",and summarizes and analyzes the articles and authors published in "Film Art" during this period.Contributions from the film industry,film history,and film review.The fourth chapter analyzes the reforms made by the "Film Art" in the form of reform and opening up from 1989 to 2009,and analyzes the contribution of the "Film Art" to the film industry,film history,and film review according to the historical conditions at the time.Chapter V analyzes the development of "Film Art" under the "New Era" from2009 to 2019,and analyzes the contribution of "Film Art" to the film industry,film history,and film review during this period based on historical conditions at the time.The sixth chapter is based on the previous chapters,and concludes that since the establishment of the "Film Art" magazine,it has made conclusions on the contribution of Chinese film from academic research to the film industry,and The Art of Film magazine draws its conclusions as the current and future position of the film school.At the same time,I give constructive opinions on the current and future development issues of Film Art.
