Collective memory is the important factor for a group to produce high degree of identity and form a cohesive force. And it is a process to construct the past based on the present. Media, however, plays a very important role on the collective memory construction. And the memory of media develops and varies with the development of the techniques of communication media. Especially during the internet age, network media techniques affect collective memory enormously on the constructive ways, the constructive subjects, constructive contents and so on.At the time of the 70th anniversary of the victory of Anti-Japanese War, the government had carried on some high-profile memorial activities in 2015. Such as the 9.3 great drill, a ritual practice used to wake the collective memory of the people for the anti-Japanese war. Except for the traditional media such as newspaper and television, the official also launch special subjects of commemorating the victory of the war with the aid of online platform, which set the tone for the construction of the collective memory of the anti-Japanese war in the new era. Thanks to the openness of the network media, it has broken the limit of the one-directed collective memory constructed by the official and elite. With the popularity of social network media, the public can take advantage of open voice of the social media to join the anti-Japanese war collective memory. The construction of network media to anti-Japanese war collective memory presents two memory construction fields:official and folk. Based on sociology, communication studies, political science and other disciplines theory, my paper follows the ideas of "whose memory", "how to memory," what is memory " "what is the attribution",to analyze the forms and contents of the construction of anti-Japanese war collective memory for both the governmental and non-governmental under the network media, and try to explore the reason for the different results under the two memory construction fields. The main body of the thesis consists of three aspects:Introduction, text and epilogue. The introduction part expounds the thesis research origin, research status, research contents and research significance. The text part includes four chapters. The first chapter is about the concept of media and collective memory. In this part, I explain the core concepts of collective memory clearly and summarizes the characteristics of the collective memory; I also Comb the effect on memory written media technology development, and analyzes the change of collective memory in "whose memory" and "how to memory" under the network media environment construction, which provides the idea for the following three chapters on the official web portal and content of construction of the social media to anti-Japanese war collective memory. The second chapter choose the project of People's Daily Online of the 70th anniversary of the victory of Anti-Japanese War as a representative of the construction field of memory under the network media official. The third chapter analyzes the construction of anti-Japanese war collective memory in social media such as BBS, WeChat, Weibo, and the impact of the public involved in memory writing on the official memories of the anti-Japanese war. The fourth chapter analyses the reasons of the anti-Japanese war collective memory of the official and folk construction separately. The conclusion is a summary of the full text and reflection.
