With the emergence of liberal and feminist thoughts in 19 th century, women's suffrage had been a practical political question in British society. women began to struggle for parliamentary elections and organized the women's suffrage movement in mid Victorian. It has had three parliamentary election reforms in the Victorian era, but the woman were still refused to outside of the electorate, During this period, the attitudes and strategies of main parties in Britain on women's suffrage were similar and different. The two veteran party not only disagreed on women's suffrage, but also had internal opinions diverge. Women's suffrage had been in suspense.Traditionally, women's liberation was the main cause of the Liberal Party, but the Conservative was the first to establish the Primrose League and alliance with women. In the Liberal Party, the ordinary members mostly supported women's suffrage, the party's leaders opposed. However, in the arena of party competition, the political parties allied with women, Women's suffrage were infinite possibility. Edwardian VII, the Labor Party grew up, but came to a standstill on women's suffrage, until 1912 it passed a resolution to support women's suffrage. A number of women's suffrage proposals and amendments had proposed by the parties in the endless race, but ended without a result. Each party had its own viewpoint, three mediation drafts were final rejected.The outbreak of World War I provided an opportunity to solve the question of women's suffrage, the parties had been compromised and promoted the 1918 parliamentary act of women candidates eligibility. The bill caused heated debate in the House of Lords and Commons, it was not the hope of all parties but went with the tide. When the interleaving emerge of New liberalism and socialism, the notion of citizenship was Increasingly mature, government bills of women becoming law were inevitable. Women's suffrage became the consensus of the British, with the power of civilization and progress, British women fighted for women's suffrage and promoted the movement for the liberation of women in the 20 th century, and also accelerated the pace of British political reform and political democratization.British political parties held different views on women's suffrage, and thus took on vary strategies, but they shared some similarities in the difference. In the unique political mode, the parties kept pace with the trend of the times and reached a compromise, and thus promoted the construction of British citizenship and the British political democratization process.
