In Chinese there are many synonyms which are frequently in use, their meanings are similar but not exactly same. It can be hard for Thai people to learn and understand about the differences between these words. In Thai language, there are some synonyms with similar meanings to the Chinese synonyms but they not exactly the same. Therefore analysis of these Thai and Chinese synonyms can help Thai people acknowledge and understand these synonyms, which can help them use it better when communicating.Chinese “yao”?“xiang”and“xiangyao” are synonyms which are frequently in use. It is not easy to master with this words for Thai people. In the Thai language, “(?)”?“(?)”and“(?)” are compare with “yao”?“xiang”and“xiangyao”in Chinese language. The main content of this research is to analysis the similarity and differences between Chinese “yao”?“xiang”and“xiangyao” and Thai “(?)”?“(?)”and“(?)” This thesis divided into four parts. The first chapter is an introduction, which introduces thesis origin, significance and purpose, the current situation, research methods, research contents and the source of the data. The second chapter is comparative analysis in syntax between Chinese “yao”?“xiang”?“xiangyao” and Thai“(?)”?“(?)”and“(?)” . This chapter mainly analyzes the semantics features and also similarity and differences of meaning of these six words. The third chapter is comparative analysis in semantic between Chinese“yao”?“xiang”?“xiangyao”and Thai“(?)”?“(?)”and“(?)” . This chapter mainly analyzes semantics feature of these words and there is three aspects to analyze. From element, how it can be used in speech and the rules of how it can co-occur with other words. And also analyzes the similarity and differences.The research can help Thai Students master the usage of Chinese “yao”?“xiang”?“xiangyao”. Meanwhile, this research can also help Chinese Student understand the semantic and syntax of Thai “(?)”?“(?)”and“(?)”The fourth part is epilogue, presents the conclusion of this research...
