Eye Movement Study On The Decision Making Of Ordinary Drivers And Fire Drivers

Driver's driving behavior is an important cause of traffic accidents,and driving decision is the most important part of driving behavior,driving decision is the driver to judge different traffic scenarios,and make a choice,the process of driving behavior.In this study,a number of traffic scenes video as driving decision-making test materials,and recorded the eye movement data of 63 fire drivers and 67 common drivers,respectively,and systematically investigated the impact of the two variables on the driver's decision making under the conditions of complex road conditions and simple road conditions:(1)To identify the decision-making stage,in simple and complex two conditions,compared to the adventurous type of driver,to avoid the risk of driver alertness higher,on hazard identification time shorter than adventurous type driver;under simple conditions,the regular drivers on hazard identification time short to fire truck driver.(2)In the process of decision-making program,in simple and complex two conditions,evade the risk and risk-taking driver pays close attention to the source of risk is consistent with the time of,information extraction and processing time no difference;under simple conditions,the regular drivers of information extraction and processing time is longer than the fire truck driver;under complicated road conditions,the regular drivers of information extraction and processing time shorter in the fire truck driver.(3)The implementation of the decision-making stage,in the complicated road conditions,compared with the risk aversion of the driver,adventurous drivers in order to avoid brake or deceleration,the processing of the more dangerous sources around the traffic information,lead to execution decision time is longer than risk aversion driver;common drivers perform the decision time short to fire truck driver.(4)In simple and complex two conditions,and in the case of the whole process of decision-making,compared with the ordinary driver,fire truck driver in decision-making more attention,cautious,they process the more dangerous sources around the traffic information,to ensure the safety of quickly arrived at the scene of the accident.
