| Film as an integrated form of art is inseparable from the handling contrast of various art forms. The relationship between music and pictures plays an extremely important role for the development of the films plots. As the two vital parts of the presentation of film art,music and image cooperate with each other to form a integrated one. A movie, that we hear and see, which means light and music change flexibly and continuously. Music provides us a different way to view the image while the new image gives us a different way to listen to music, so that audience can be resonated with. It has been more than 100 years since the films has appeared, in the meantime, film music has become more important with the development of the film, from the blunt splice with images at the very beginning to the vital part of a movie at present.In this paper, film music will be discussed both in the audio-visual integration and emotional experience through three parts. In the first part of the article, the author discusses the film music is a unity of visual and aural. By dicussing how does the movie music synesthesia, musical montage, and new audiovisual technology influence the way that people appreciate the movies seperately, with some films released in recent years as examples, to illustrate the unity of visual and auditory.The second part, the author of the article focuses on two aspects, one is the emotional expression of literary of film music, the other is aesthetic experience of film music. Emotional expression of literary of film music will be divided into three smaller parts to be described. Firstly, how does it suggests that the development of the plot of the film through the symbolic tones; Secondly, how does it highlight films pitch by lyricism and rhythm changes; Also, how does it form the emotional comparison by music conflict. The author discusses the movie musical aesthetic experience focuses on the emotional experience, mainly described two problems that may explain the association of film music and film music directivity.The third part of the article the author selected two more representative animated films, "Inside Out" and "Kung Fu Panda". Their film music as the object to be analyzed and illustrated will demonstrate the points in the first part and the second part of the article. Both films I have adopted a "pull-tab" approach, the films’ music has been analyzed in details. " Inside Out " is illustrated by classified discussing the theme music and plot-related title music; "Kung Fu Panda" is demonstrated through different scenarios analysis.Finally, I would like to use Japanese music master Joe Hisaishi’s word to end the discussion about this part: "In a movie, a piece of music, perhaps even just a note can move you.". |
