Study On Merging Or Separation Of “?” And “?” In Modern Chinese

“?”and“?”are very important structural auxiliary words in modern Chinese.Chinese is a typical example of Semantic-based language, which needs generalized form to express, such as structural auxiliary words. “?”and“?” are widely used in modern Chinese. Merging or Separation of them vary widely from different perspectives. But over all, separation is inevitable.The first chapter combs the merging and separation history of“?”and“?” and find out main views. Then, list the explanation of current main dictionaries of“ ? ”and“ ? ”.And, points out the deficiency of research on “ ? ”and“ ? ”at present.Finally, briefly introduce the research methods and sources of data.The second chapter lists many mixed using examples of literature, movies,television, music, news and network. There are three types of mixed using case whether to use “ ?”or“ ? ”.The reasons are about three aspects--language itself,language specification and mixed using phenomenon.The third chapter indicate that separation is imperative because their sources,pronunciation, semantic ambiguities, grammatical structures and expressing effects are all different.The last chapter briefly introduce the main view and deficiency of this thesis.
