The Study On The Morphology,Material And Design Language Of The Three-dimensional Typography

With the development of the new techniques,designers are not satisfied about the Two-Dimensional Typography design and are making attempts to break the exiting typography design rules,exploring the new typography design language on three or higher dimensional typography design.Three-Dimensional Typography Design takes advantages of its unique materials and stereoscopic typographic morphology to provide people with a different visual beauty,compared to the traditional Two-Dimensional Typography,and also satisfies designers' desire to explore the High-Dimensional Typography Design.This paper classifies,and compares a large amount of recently excellent Three-Dimensional Typography Design work,analyzes the basic morphology of Three-Dimensional Typography Design from the aspects of patterns,materials,and colors,and further takes the creational reuse of the original patterns,geometrical forms and other characteristics of materials for examples to discuss the visual design languages.Finally,it concludes valuable experiences and methods from the discussion about the experimental design works and hopes to apply these experiences and methods to the future functional designs of the Three-Dimensional Typography.
