Paul Taylor is one of the main representative of the contemporary western anthropocentrism in environmental ethics that proposed the bio centrism world view and resolve the conflict between human and other biological basic principle, after his systematic discussion he gradually formed a relatively complete system of environmental ethics which made important contribution to the theory of the development of contemporary environmental ethics.We first reviews the Schweitzer, Singh's environmental ethics value concept, the advantages and disadvantages of anthropocentrism and non anthropocentrism of two environmental ethics theory in this paper. then analyzes the due to the wanton plundering human exploitation of natural, resulting in the increasingly tense relationship between human and nature, the gradual deterioration of the ecological crisis and grim reality. It is pointed out that these causes are the realistic basis of Paul Tayler's environmental ethics values theory. Thus, this thesis elaborate on Paul Tayler environmental ethics, presents a review Paul Tayler's environmental ethics basic principle---the attitude of respect natural moral and the world view of biological center and we further discusses the Paul Tayler's environmental ethical thoughts of social function, practical significance and scientific development's view. However, Chinese traditional ecological ethics theory views were analyzed and compared with Paul Tayler's view. Finally, we discuss the approaches of Paul Taylor's respect for nature environment ethics how to implement combined with the environmental problems of our country and contemporary Chinese ecological civilization construction and green development aim at providing certain theoretical reference.
