| As an important part of the construction of the infrastructure of water scenic areas, the signage design of water scenic areas undertakes the important task of the spatial cognition of the water scenic areas. The logical sigange design not only can show the complex environment of space in order and guide the behavior of tourists in water scenic areas, but also is an important carrier of spreading the "water culture" and the "local culture" which contain mutiple meanings of function and culture. At present, for the signage design of water scenic areas, there is not yet any unified standard, it is due to the insufficient research in this field. However, the tourism of water scenic areas needs the construction of the infrastructure. Therefore, the research of the signage design of the water scenic areas conforms to the needs of the rapid development of the national water conservancy. Meanwhile, improving the signage design in visual, is also due to improve the brand image of water scenic areas.The signage design of water scenic areas is the research object of the thesis. This paper uses thespatial behavior of people and spatial cognition as its main theoretical basis. Firstly, this paper analyzes the causes of the spatial cognition of toutists in the environment space of water scenic areas. Secondly, it unites the "five senses" design and "Maslow’s hierarchy of needs" in the Humanistic Psychology category and analyses the present signage design of water scenic areas through the internal cause and the external cause. Finally, this paper is based on the achievement of the present signage design, summarizing structures and principles of the signage design of water scenic areas. And it discusses the important meaning of enhancing the construction of the infrastructure. This paper combines the present situation of the signage design and needs of the tourists, looking into the future of the signage of water scenic areas. It provides the important theory and the reference of the signage design to the national industry standards of water scenic areas and its development. |
