Study Of The Early Works By Banana Yoshimoto In Gender Perspective

Banana Yoshimoto boarded the Japanese literary world in 1980 s,a series of works with distinctive marks of the times have attracted people's attention.Her works describes the rich material,but poor in heart,full of anxiety and loneliness of modern people's situation and puts forward the path of healing through the gender border and liberated from the blood relationship and the other ways.This paper based on social gender theory,reexamines Banana Yoshimoto's early works from the perspective of gender criticism,analyze the gender temperament and gender roles of the characters in the works,explore the relationship between the characters and the gender roles and mining the gender concept embodied in the works.The introduction is divided into three sections.The first section introduces the early works by Banana Yoshimoto;the second section carding and summary the research status of Banana Yoshimoto works at home and abroad;the third section outlines the research methods and significance of the study.The first chapter analyzes the gender roles in the early works,using the gender theory to divide the male and female characters into three types: female role,male role,and transgender role in the study.The research of female role and male role divided into three aspects of gender temperament,professional view and opinions about marriage and love,show the similarities and differences between the two sexes through the comparison.The second chapter discusses the relationship between the two sexes in the early works,and discusses partner type of sexual relations and sexual relations in violation of ethics.Partner type of sexual relations between the two sexes is not so intense,as it is more like plain relationship between friends.Banana Yoshimoto build a kind of light and soft relationship between the two sexes,fuzzy and weakened the sense of sex between men and women,try to build a new modern interpersonal relationship between young men and women.In shaping violate ethical relationships,Banana focus on the description of the ethical taboo of the male and female characters after the torture of people's mental state and no positive description of incestuous love process,she did not criticize these love,but placed deep sympathy and understanding.The third chapter discusses the gender views in the early works and practical significance.Firstly,this chapter introduces the social background of the formation of gender concept,and then analyzes the realistic significance of the gender views in the early works to the contemporary young people.The conclusion part summarizes the content of this article,and puts forward the prospect of the future research.
