LiGuang(1078-1159), a famous officer in the early SouthernSong Dynasty, He write DuYiXiangShuo and 18 volumes of ZhuangJianJi, it was left 484 poems,13 songwords,265 essays. A lot of poems got lost after Ming dynasty. The Complete Collection of Song Poetry recorded 384 poems created by LiGuang, assembled in eight volumes. This thesis is based on the Complete Collection of Song Poetry.The schemes of LiGuan's poems include friendship poetry, chanting poetry,lyric poetry, fude poetry, other poetry etc. Amongst them, the friendship poems account for the majority. According to the content, it was divided into ZengChou poetry and farewell poetry. LiGuang writed a lot of excellent chanting poetry, especially of chanting bamboo and plum blossom. lyric poetry can be most feflecting the poet human feelings and inner feelings. fude poetry may telling some pavilions and towers. Other poetry contain elegy poetry and JiNei poetry. LiGuang's elegy poetry is for mouring his friends, and the elegy poetry for his song is the most sad and mild. JiNei poetry is about the homesick and the feeling of missing his wife.LiGuang was good at not only describing in vigorous words, but allusioning and narrating tales. His poems were saturated with local customs ‘Si-Ku-Quan-Shu' i.e. The Complete Books of the Four Imperial Repositories, appraised his poems as follows, his poems with the features of harmonious topics, elegant language, mellow rhyme and fresh temperament were all of rooted in his prospect of a better life in future.The artistic features of the poetry are worth studying, and the optimistic attitude towards the life is worth learning. To get deeper insight into the poems and investigating the poetry style of the obscure poet, is capable of facilitating to appreciate the panorama of poetry in the Southern Song Dynasty.
