During the 1920 s and 1930 s, Japanese “neo-sensualism” literature was constantly introduced in China. Novelists from different backgrounds and positions played active roles in the translations. Chinese “neo-sensualism” was born under the influence of translation and acceptance of Japanese “neo-sensualism”.Researches about translations of Japanese “neo-sensualism” in China have been conducted by both Japanese and Chinese scholars in the past, however, the researches into this field can still be enriched.The purpose of this thesis is to elucidate several points below:1. what kind of novelists were working on the translation2. what kind of novels were translated3. the purpose and reason for translation4. notable points or problems(errors) of translated sentencesThis research is mainly done through classification of related past researches and comparative reading of original and translated sentences.
