Tujia people is a great ethnic with a time-honored history and culture. In the very early days, Tujia ancestors lived and labor, reproduction in Hunan, Hubei, Chongqing and Guizhou in Wuling mountain area. The particularity of geographic location has forged the unique traditional culture of Tujia, Tujia nationality has not only created rich material wealth, but also immortal spiritual culture in the long-time productive labor and social struggle with their own hardworking and wisdom.Tujia folk literature contains abundant oral literature, myths, legends, ballands, proverbs, folk tales, folk drama and other genres. They vividly reflect their own national ancient history and vast life through the plain wholesome ideological contents and the magnificent and colorful artistic forms, which not only embodies the unique way of life, customs, habits and psychological quality, but also contains rich ecological consciousness. It is that their plain ecological concept that the human and the nature are equal and co-existence and the corresponding behaviors that jointly draw the outline of the picture that human and nature are in harmonious relationship. Ecological criticism has been paid mounting attention as the deterioration of ecological environment and ecological crisis. This thesis mines and renders the ecological consciousness of Guizhou Tujia folk literature in the perspective of ecological criticism. The whole thesis can be divided into three chapters. The first chapter interprets the natural ecology of the Guizhou Tujia folk literature instructed by the theory that man is an integral part of nature, and the lords of creation, their earliest folk literature creation myths, primitive natural worship,flora and fauna worship and totem worship have reflected the coexistence and common ontology of human and nature and the reverence towards divine nature. The second chapter mainly takes the Guizhou Tujia to folk literary texts in the culture and customs dance culture and social, artistic features, connotation of national and folk song and dance drama by showing the ecological wisdom as the research objectives to reveal the friendly and harmonious relationship between human and everything in nature. In addition, this chapter's interpretations based on the theory that human life should comply with the natural rhythm and law. The third chapter mainly discusses the value and significance of the ecological consciousness within Guizhou Tujia folk literature in the process of coping with the exacerbation of global ecological crisis. Through restoring the charm of nature and the ecological aesthetic ontology featuring dwelling poetically to save the current ecological crisis. To contemplate the ecological consciousness of the Tujia folk literature in the way of the theory of ecological aesthetics and ecological criticism, which would open a new cognitive perspective for us, more importantly, it gives us a ecological enlightenment that we and nature should be harmonious coexistence.
