By survey, the status quo of time management disposition, academic procrastination and mental health of today's vocational students is acquired, and the research on the correlations among the above three variables is conducted in this thesis; thus suggestions on the education of vocational students are proposed. In this research, Middle School Students Academic Procrastination Questionnaire, Adolescence Time Management Disposition Scale(ATMD), and Mental Health Inventory of Middle-School Students are adopted for a survey of 476 vocational students in Baoding City. The results indicate that:(1) In general, vocational students show a relatively low level of academic procrastination, which displays significant differences in the demographic variables of gender and grade, but no statistically significant difference in the demographic variables of origin of student, the student being only child or not, and discipline. Generally, boy students have higher academic procrastination than girl students; high school seniors present the highest degree of academic procrastination, while sophomore and junior students of high school present roughly equivalent levels of academic procrastination.(2) Generally speaking, the time management disposition capacity of vocational students can be evaluated as an intermediate level, which has significant difference in the demographic variables of gender and grade, but no significant difference in the demographic variables of origin of student, the student being only child or not and discipline. Girl students tend to show greater capacity in time management disposition than boy students, and sophomore students clearly display better time management than junior and senior vocational students.(3) On the whole, there exist mild mental health problems among vocational students, whose mental health present significant difference in the demographic variables of gender and grade, but no statistically significant difference in other demographic variables including origin of student, the student being only child or not, and subject. In general, girl students have better mental health than boy students, and seniors and sophomores show higher levels of mental health than junior students.(4) There is a significant negative correlation between time management disposition and academic procrastination of vocational students, a significant positive correlation between academic procrastination and mental health, and a significant negative correlation between time management disposition and mental health.(5) For vocational students, academic procrastination plays a partial intermediary role in their time management disposition and mental health.Through analysis of the relationship between high school students academic procrastination, time management disposition and mental health will benefit parents and school advantageous to guide students to form a reasonable time management disposition, better to arrange a time for efficient learning, thereby reducing or eliminate delays behavior to improve their mental health level for them faster and better adapt to the social foundation.
