Facing the severe situation in Sinkiang, the CPC central committee made an important measure to solve the marital problem which existed among the soldiers stationed in Sinkiang after the foundation of the PR China. The measure was just making an women migration from Hunan to Sinkiang, which had an great significance in stabling the situation, developing the economy and other aspects in Sinkiang. From 1950 to 1954. about 8000 women were recuited by Sinkiang Military Region in Hunan province.The 8000 women pulled through all the difficulties such as hanger thirsty and danger from brigands during the way to Sinkiang and made an role adaption quickly in their new life, as an result, fulfilling their political destiny wonderfully. The women got married with the soldiers stationed in Sinkiang and give birth to children who were called military cultivation generation in history. The women were not only doing physical labor such as seeding grains, cultivating lands but also taking the burden to teach the soldiers and children reading and writing, making their best to spreading culture and knowledge to native people. Because of their great sacrifice, Sinkiang had gained an incredible development in the early years of PR China, which even still have an serious influence on today's OBOR economic strategy.At first, the 8000 women were designed to be Army Wives, however, the role they played even beyond the expectation originally. They were not contributing youth and love but undertake the task to be the first generation of mothers, teachers, doctors and agriculture agents who made the deserts become oases and who made the backward lands become modern factories in desolate Sinkiang at that time. All in all, the great women made an great contribution to the young Sinkiang and to the young PR China.
