Ha Jin is the most high-profile Chinese American writer in contemporary American mainstream literature. Since he has won many important literary awards, he has gradually went into the researchers line of sight. Ha Jin's main achivements in writing were his full-length novels, for this purpose, the paper's main research objects were his six full-length novels. Ha Jin told by himself that he has influenced by a lot of native and foreign literary tradition, including Chinese classical poetry, Russian reallistic literature and the traditional of Conrad and Nabokov. There are various factors in Ha Jin's novel, such as theme, spiritual and intellectual and technical. Based on empirical studies within the text and esthetic analysis external, the paper's research content is the origins between Ha Jin's novels and the three literery conditions. And figure out the innovation aparts in his novels. This paper provid a new approach via the combination study on space and time.The paper covers five chapters: The first Chapter is the introduction, including research current situation, research object, research meaning and research frame. In the second chapter, the paper disscussed the relationship between Ha Jin and Chinese ancient poetry through two aspects: the creation of image and artistic conception, poetic space as the subject.The third chapter analysised the connection between Ha Jin's novel and Russian reallism novels. We found that the life tragedy consciousness, the care of “nobodies” and the formation of saints in Russian reallism novels inspired Ha Jin's creative work. The forth chapter made research in the connection between Ha Jin and the immigrant writers and their novels. They helped Ha Jin's writing in many aspects, such as the linguistic skills of non-mother tongue writing, the deconstruction and reconstruction of the dual cultural identity, the reconstruction of writing build in the lost homeland. Finally is the paper's conclusion. As a result, the success of Ha Jin was by no means accident. It was due to those complexity and diversification that made Ha Jin stands out from crowds of Chinese-American writers and even those American native writers.
