Under the guiding guidance of semantic translation, methods of literal translation, polysemy discrimination and logic translation were adopted to solve three translation difficulties in Saigon Has Fallen. They are proper nouns translation such as geographic names, weapon names, translation of ambiguous structures and translation of long and difficult sentences.The results obtained in this translation practice show that semantic translation has irreplaceable guiding significance for documentary and war literature. The semantic translation helps readers to see the real historical events. Hence it can be seen that some literature texts are also particular about truthfulness and accuracy. Any casualness and indistinctness should not be allowed. If a war literature translation needs to be done precisely and faithfully, a translator should choose a proper theory and pay great attention to suitable translation skills. Semantic translation will help to remain and keep the content and style of source text to the maximum extent.
