The teaching of directional complement is a hot point in Chinese grammar teaching.The indications of directional complement can be divided into 3 categories:directional indication?result indication?state indication.The last two indications are extended indication.The directional indication is the basic indication of directional complement.They can express the moving oriental of action and things.In this situation,they have actual meaning.According to the process of teaching work in Lampang Rajabhat University,I found that the directional indication is the first study content that students get.And about this part,I found a lot of errors they make.So there is necessary for us to get the research about the directional indication of directional complement.This research starts from the comparison of Thai language and Chinese,analyse the errors when they use directional complement,and then summarizes the reason of these errors,there are three main reason about the errors:negative transfer of mother language ? knowledge generalization of target language ? lack of effective learning strategies.Combine the reasons with the characteristic of Thai student.At last,put the theory into practice,offer the suggestion of learning directional complement that is aimed at Thai students.This paper also adapt the teaching material of directional complement.And write the teaching plan according to the teaching material.So that can guide the teaching of directional indication about the directional complement.
