The article is guided by linguistics and second language teaching theory.It mainly uses the methods of comparative analysis and corpus analysis.Starting from the writing of the directional complements of the two textbooks that are used frequently,the analysis and comparison of the complements are carried out.It concentrates in the compilation and reproducibility of directional complements in textbooks,as well as the effectively feasible compilation suggestions and new features of the complements.The article is mainly divided into four parts.The first part focuses on the literature review in three directions: the research on the directional complement of Chinese as a foreign language,the study on the compilation of Chinese textbooks as the second language,and the discuss on the directional complements implementation on teaching materials.The second part takes the two sets of teaching materials "Development Chinese" and "Boya Chinese" as the analysis objects,analyzing the grammar writing background of the teaching materials and introducing the analytical theoretical support for the content of the latter two parts.And along with the structures of three aspects of this directional complement system,which include that simple directional complements,compound directional complements and the potential form of directional complements,this part contrasts and analyzes the texts and practice writing of the directional complement grammar in those two textbooks;the third part is the comparison and display of the three grammar items from the perspective of the text and practice display;The fourth part is to evaluate the compilation of the two supplementary textbooks,and put forward corresponding suggestions for the compilation of the textbooks.
