Research On The Image Of China In The 'Man Ying' Film

This paper studies film made by ‘Man Ying' which was the biggest company to propaganda culture during the period of Japanese Occupied Northeast of China. I study film of ‘Man Ying' through the method of close reading, empirical analysis, questionnaire survey and imagology. Such film divided into ‘public entertainment film' ‘elicitation film' and ‘current affairs film'. In order to convenient to study, the author divide the film as ‘Japanese made film 'and ‘Chinese participation made film', then study the image of China in ‘Man Ying'. Analysis the causes of China image based on the image analyzed from film. And the paper want to analysis the same and difference between them. And analyze the reason why the same and difference. On the one hand, fill the gap in the academic circles about studying the China image in ‘Man Ying' and the weakness on close reading on ‘Man Ying'. On the other hand, through the China image from ‘Japanese made film' and ‘Chinese participation made film' analysis the reason formation these, restore to the history to prove the invasion of ‘Man Ying'. This paper mainly consist of three parts:In the introduction, the two aspect of the problem are summarized and described. First to introduce ‘Man Ying' and full mapping of its film. Second is studying status of experts in domestic and foreign.Especially the study status about the China image in ‘Man Ying' film.The main text includes three chapters.The first chapter mainly studies the China image of ‘Japanese made film ' and its contribution factors. The second chapter mainly studies the China image of ‘Chinese participation made film' and its contribution factors. And the third chapter is to analysis the same and difference between ‘Japanese made film 'and ‘Chinese participation made film', and then analyze the reason based on the first and second chapter. And to prove China image in ‘Japanese made film' are distorted under the policy of ‘Five-Nationality Unity for a Republic' and ‘Manchu and Japan a family'The conclusion part summarizes the full of paper, about the impact of China has been mentioned.And then mention the shortcoming in paper.
