In the recent 10 years, the issue on how to introduce calligraphy globally has been always discussing, but there is no solution or change so far, because, this is not only an issue on theory, but more of an issue on creation, for theory cannot save the creation of art,and art can only relies on its own work.It is well-known that the Japanese calligraphy won a high reputation in the world in 1950 s,and Yukei Teshima won a fame in the wave of recognition, which inspired me to write the article, and hope it can provide the basis of methodology to Calligraphy at present. The article studies from 3 prospects like "inheritance and rebellion ","the emergence and forming of Yukei Teshima's Calligraphy",and "the influence of Yukei Teshima's Calligraphy on Chinese and Japanese calligraphy",the first aspect will start with the story that Shoujing Yang went to Japan, and studied how did he break the logjam of calligraphy circle of Japan with “Bei” calligraphy—a hurricane-type North Bei calligraphy, which was accepted by the calligraphy society at the time, thus opened the prelude of Japan's modern and contemporary calligraphy, which served as a basis for the emergence of modern schools like “Less Words” calligraphy, because the style and expression way of artistic language of North Bei calligraphy has the potential appropriateness with "Less Words” calligraphy. The pain of being defeated made most Japanese difficult to accept the fact, and due to the awe to traditional Chinese calligraphy as well as the wish to jump out of the heavy cultural circle, along with the influence by the western esthetics of literature and arts, modern calligraphy with "Less Words" calligraphy as a representative emerged, which drawn important reference to calligraphy society of China at present that only "rebellion" spirit can lead to the regeneration of art. Then we talk about the origin of thought.Japan more of accepted western culture after the Meiji Restoration, especially the Renaissance, which generated clear creation concept in Japanese calligraphy, which fundamentally had a natural connection with the spirit of "Bushido",and was fully demonstrated in “Less Words” calligraphy. The second aspect is the study on the emergence, formation and maturity of “Less Words” calligraphy, and the significance of it to modern calligraphy through the study on the summary of characteristics of artistic creation.Ancient and sensitive questions--what is calligraphy and what is calligraphy art--are put forward to arouse the thinking by calligraphic professionals. Here,I would like to carry out the substantial investigation and research on the influence of Yukei Teshima to China and Japan calligraphy as a professional. In the recent 20 years,Yukei Teshima exerts very profound influence on China calligraphy, and many modern calligraphy groups have been set up in China. But from the facts of the current creation,no one can transcend Yukei Teshima. Here I cannot help to ask whether the calligraphy art creation is adhered to the form,or the real feeling?...
