Schumann's "Abegg Variations" Op.1 Discussion

Schuhmann(1810-1856)is a great composer in Germany in nineteenth Century,the romantic period,is also an imaginative musical poet.He has created a lot of music works in his life,covers a variety of forms of music,among them,the piano works best reflects Schuhmann's musical talent and artistic style.In nineteenth Century,the romantic trend of' thought swept across Europe's musical world,musicians want to break free from the shackles of classical music,desire to use music language to express inner feelings and passion for life,during this period,many non musical elements were run through the musical works,become a special symbol to express the emotion of music,Schuhmann is the representative of the perfect blend of Literary Symbols and music.This paper discusses the "Abegg variations",Schuhmann's life is one of the most love piano,Schuhmann will be romantic and complicated emotional journey of a quality suggestive of poetry or painting are devoted to this work.Although it is short,but Schuhmann's unique style of music and variations in order to show the most incisive,more important is,Influenced by the romantic literature and its own personality,"Aesthetic and literary features of Abegg variations" with a distinctive value,has a very high artistic value and research.The first part of the paper describes the background and significance of this study,carding the current research situation at home and abroad,and expounds the development and evolution of variations,in order to lay a theoretical foundation for the paper.In the first chapter,I will introduce Schuhmann's musical life and artistic style,and analyze the influence of romantic literary works on Schuhmann's music creation;The second chapter,I will introduce "the creation background and characteristics of the Abegg variations";In the third chapter,I will from three angles of form and tonality,playing and the variation of the Abegg variations "music analysis.In previous research as the basis,the fourth chapter focuses on the Abegg variations"aesthetic characteristics and literary features,with a deep understanding of Schuhmann's romantic feelings.In the concluding part summarizes and puts forward the significance of Schuhmann's Piano Variations on Chinese piano music creation.
