| The conceptual image is a visual expression to a thing or a phenomenon.It breaks through the limit of traditional documentary photography and enrich its design language.It shows the author's unique perspective and creative expressions by means of images.In the conceptual image we can question boldly the phenomena arising from different systems and different societies,such as,reveal the phenomena that go against the natural scientific rules,reflect or analyze the social phenomena and hot topics,also explore the possibilities of the unknown fields.It is meant to give implications and guiding the public to rediscover themselves,so that they would have emotional resonance with the author.As a natural self-conscious man,he or she returns from the stereotyped collective personality back to the diversity of the individual.In the picture,we explore and broaden our eyesight to re-understand ourselves and also the world as well.The conceptual image,as the interactive artistic form of human social culture,has gradually become a newborn art media presented in front of the public.Body symbols are the silent image language.They can be recorded,transmitted,and be easily identified.In my work The Empty Nest,the author photographs and collects widely and produces the dialogue between body symbols and the indoor scene in 1980s,which reflects the relations between modern middle aged&elderly people and the society.It is meant to express two kinds of meanings:to create a false image that the character is not there to show the problem of supporting old people nowadays.Since the acceleration of the aging degree of population in China,and the mechanism of supporting the old people is not mature,the living conditions and psychological states of the empty-nest elderly can no longer be ignored.My work can also have the following meanings:what roles do we play in real life?Do you avoid pessimistically or blend in it actively?Such questions are all thought-provoking. |
