In recent years, the development of the traditional Chinese realistic painting shows the trend of innovation. The young artists focus more and more attention on the city theme-figure painting. These works reflect the distinctive characteristics of the times, showing the unique style of contemporary artists. In this paper, from analysis the tenth, eleven, twelve, and seventh national art exhibition, the eight and nine national painting exhibition, we can know the status of the city theme-figure painting's development and the trend. in-depth exploration of urban theme painting, we find the city theme-figure painting how to influence the contemporary Chinese realistic painting. And on this basis,I will find new way in my painting creation and open ideas.
