The Porcelain Industry Ecology,Population,Tax And Trade Studies Of Jingdezhen In Late Qing Dynasty(1840—1911)

In this paper,from 1840 to 1911,Jingdezhen porcelain history,population and taxation as the research object,the collation and analysis of Jingdezhen porcelain materials,trying to restore the development picture of Jingdezhen in the late Qing Dynasty porcelain.This paper mainly has three research point.From the ecological aspects of late Qing dynasty Jingdezhen porcelain industry,analysis of the development of Jingdezhen porcelain industry has been facing serious problems from the raw materials.From aspects of the tax system and analysis of Jingdezhen porcelain development slow not only due to the shortage of raw materials due to rising costs,but also because at that time,the government's management confusion.From the aspects of China and Southeast Asia Trade in the late Qing Dynasty,the trade between China and Southeast Asia has brought great influence to the ceramic industry.Summing up the above three aspects,this paper points out that in the late Qing Dynasty,Jingdezhen porcelain development compared with the early stage of the Qing Dynasty is slowed,but history always continue to move forward,this retardation is relative,that period can be said to be modern Jingdezhen Ceramic Industrial Development of the buffer period and exploration period.
