| With the popularity of postgraduate education in the continuing education enrollment, the number of graduate students is constantly increasing. However, the current employment situation is not optimistic, postgraduates have lost the original education, degree advantages, and they must also be put into the job market to compete for jobs. Graduate employment pressure increases, but the study of the problem is still few. Integrating with the existing research results, this study adopted open questionnaire and interview, compiled a graduate job search ability questionnaire. Then, using the occupational expectation questionnaire, employment anxiety questionnaire and questionnaire of job search ability to study 620 postgraduates, explores the graduate occupational expectation, employment anxiety, and job search ability status quo, and reveals the relationship of the three. Finally, in view of the present situation and the relationship between the three, puts forward some countermeasures to ease employment anxiety. The research results of this study are as follows:(1)"job search ability questionnaire ", contains a total of 27 items, including six dimensions:interview ability, ability of information collection, professional self orientation ability, psychological debugging ability, communication ability, and the ability to grasp opportunities. The questionnaire has good reliability and validity, achieving the requirement of psychometric and regarding as a measuring tool of job search ability of postgraduate.(2)Graduate job search ability overall level slightly higher than the theoretical mean value.Significant difference was found in each dimension. Each dimension score from high to low in turn as the communication ability and psychological debugging ability, professional self orientation ability, the ability to grasp opportunities, interview ability, information collecting ability. Communication ability, ability of psychological debugging, professional self orientation ability, the ability to grasp opportunities average score slightly higher than the theoretical mean value, interview and information gathering ability average score slightly lower than the theoretical mean value.(3)Graduate student occupational expectation overall score and the three dimensions’ average score higher than the theoretical mean value, of each dimension score from high to low in turn as the intrinsic value and external value, prestige, status and stability.(4)Graduate employment anxiety overall level higher than the theoretical mean value, detection rate is 12.34%,and detection rate of each dimension is 9.70%-41.78%.Of each dimension score from high to low in turn as interview anxiety, employment fear, job anxiety. Anxiety among them, the interview anxiety and employment uneasy average score slightly higher than the theoretical mean value, the employment fear and job anxiety average score slightly lower than mean value in theory.(5)Related studies show that job search ability and the employment anxiety has significantly negative correlation, and occupational expectation has significantly positive related to employment anxiety, job search ability and vocational expectation has significant positive correlation.(6)Occupational expectation has significant positive prediction function on employment anxiety, and job search ability for employment anxiety has significant negative prediction function; Interview ability, the ability to grasp opportunities, ability of psychological debugging, professional self orientation ability have significant negative prediction function on employment fear, and prestige, status and stability, extrinsic value has significant positive prediction function on employment fear; Interview ability, professional self orientation ability, ability of psychological debugging, the ability to grasp opportunities have significant negative prediction function on employment uneasy, prestige, status and stability,intrinsic value has significant positive prediction function on employment uneasy; Interview ability, communication ability have significant negative prediction function on interview anxiety, and prestige, status and stability has significant positive prediction function on interview anxiety;... |
