With the continuous development of China’s higher education cause, the graduate education of our country is developing with unprecedented speed. On the one hand, the higher education level is improving and the number of professional personnel is growing; On the other hand, the employment situation is grim and the recruitment of graduate students scale is growing, then the fierce competition in society is increased, employment anxiety of the graduate is also followed. The number of psychology professionals is growing at a fast pace, but from the perspective of employment, the psychology professionals are embarrassed. This study attempts to combine quantitative and qualitative methods, learning the status of the psychology graduate students’ employment anxious, then, exploring what factors influence the high employment psychology graduate student employment anxiety level of anxiety and how these factors influence.This study includes two parts.The first part is the quantitative research. Use the "College students’ employment anxiety questionnaire" edited by Ren Huajuan to investigate the selected 166 psychology graduate students, and then learn how the status quo of employment anxiety and demographic variables influence on the anxiety level of employment. Then the researcher selects the top 27% participants as the high employment anxiety group to prepare for the following interview researches.The second part is the qualitative research. Combined with the research purpose on the intention of subjects, choose four respondents from the selected high employment anxiety participants to explore the influential factors of high employment anxiety based on Interview method and grounded theory.Quantitative study is found the following conclusions:At first, the psychological graduate students’ employment anxiety in the subjective dimension is significantly higher than in the physiological behavior dimension, employment anxiety mainly reflects on the aspect of subjective feeling.Secondly, the only child’s anxious level of employment is significantly lower than children with siblings. In the physiological behavior dimension the graduate students from the rural area are significantly higher than graduate students from city.Qualitative study concluded:First, the gap between ideals and reality affects psychological graduates’ anxious level of employment.Second, Personal characteristics and the adaptation degree of social competition affect psychological graduates’ anxious level of employment.Third, the full extent of preparation for employment impacts on psychological graduates’ level of employment anxiety.Fourth, during the job hunting, the sense of isolation and helplessness that they experienced affect psychological graduates’ level of employment anxiety.Fifth, the sense of frustration caused by the social compare affects psychological graduates’ level of employment anxiety.Sixth, Full of panic on the unknown life impacts on psychological graduates’ level of employment anxiety.
