Ceramics as an artifact almost with the parallel development of our civilization,witnessed the progress of human civilization,also deeply engraved on the brand of The Times.However,with the progress of science and technology,the improvement of people's living standards,people's demand for daily-use ceramics also more and moro strict,but many of the ceramics in China is due to a lack of design innovation,product with low value,cannot satisfy the needs of people any more,or even replaced by other material products.Therefore,how to design the ceramics meet the demand of modern people is an urgent problem to solve of daily ceramics industry,Dehua county is one of the three procelain capitals of china,carries forward major responsibility of the ceramic products,ceramic culture of our country.However many ceramic production enterprise doesn't pay attention to design innovation,and lead to the general phenomenon of ceramics of low value and low profits,.Dehua county even appear a deformation phenomenon of aily-use ceramics industry that development in a way in lower praces to gain more profit.In this paper,the author through the on-the-spot investigation,data investigation,validation,historical data and analysis the advantages and disadvantages of dehua county's ceramic industry and Combined with the design methodology,psychology,human engineering,aesthetics and other disciplines,speculate the feasibility way to improve the value of dehua county's ceramics.and then provide references to designers and enterprices with excellent examples.The research project of this thesis consists of five chapters.Chapter one is the introduction part,including the research background,research contents,research objectives and research significances.The second part introduces the category and characteristic of ceramics for daily use,the definition of value,and analyzed in modern society the feasibility of the approach to improve the value of caremics and explain why we should improve value of ceramic products.The third part through the way of on-the-spot investigation,literature,interview and so on,analysis the problems in dehua county industrial and advantage.The fourth part mainly analyzes the general ways to improve the ceramic product's value and design method.Fifth part based on the feasible new way to increase the ceramics for daily use products and design methods,combined with the present situation of dehua county ceramics industry,to find the way to raises dehua county ceramic product valuea and improve dehua ceramic industry,and through the analysis of conclusion to carry on the design practice.
