The Study Of Ecological Modernization

Modernization is the common ideal of human being.When we step into twenty-first Century,the process of China's modernization has achieved great economic success while the natural environment quality has been declining.The contradiction between man and nature is becoming more and more acute.,and the problems between natural environment and economic development are becoming more and more serious.To realize the harmonious development of the natural environment and economy is of great significance for China to alleviate the ecological crisis,to build a harmonious society and to realize the "Chinese dream".Marx had pointed out that the emergence of modern society is the inevitable phenomenon of human society development.Modernization has paid more than the ecological cost of the past although it has brought the rich material,the promotion of democracy,the spirit of freedom.The way out of the predicament of modernization is the ecological turning of the modernization."Ecological modernization" is the main area of the modernization,and it is a new idea and method to coordinate the relationship between people and the environment.The core of the theory of ecological modernization is to use the ecological advantages to promote the modernization process by combining the "ecological" and "modernization",and its final purpose is to achieve economic development and environmental protection of a win-win situation.It has a high reference value to the construction of ecological civilization in our country.This thesis is divided into four chapters to discuss under the guidance of historical materialism:In the foreword part states the theoretical and practical significance of the research on Ecological Modernization Theory in the background of modernization,the domestic research status and foreign research status of this topic,as well as the research methods of this paper,etc.The second chapter expounds the theory of modernization.This chapter analyzes Marx and Engels's discussion of modernization in order to strengthen the understanding of the theory of modernization.Then think about why the process of modernization will bring about the destruction of the natural environment,and try to find a solution to the problem from the basic principles of Marx doctrine so as to lay a theoretical foundation for further analysis of ecological modernization theory.The third chapter is the main part of this paper.In this part,I try to explain the understanding of the theory of Ecological Modernization from its background,the development process,the representative theory and the core content and so on.Through the analysis,the ecological vision of the theory is presented to the maximum extent,and the applicability of the theory in China is analyzed.The fourth chapter elaborates the important status of the construction of ecological civilization,and then tries to draw the essence of the theory of ecological modernization as well as put forward some suggestions for the construction of ecological civilization in our country from four aspects of production mode,life style,thinking mode and system guarantee.
