"Jin" Part Of Shuowenjiezi Semantic Analysis

Shuowenjiezi wrote by Xu Shen is the first dictionary in Chinese history, with radical scheduling of analyzing the shape of characters systematically, probing into the character source, examinating the literal meaning and sound. It is of significant for linguistics, phonetics,philology and culture to study system, the repeated character, the typeface evolution, the phonological rules and the culture contains of each character in Shuowenjiezi. Based on the "Jin" part of Shuowenjiezi, this paper will make tentative research in the denomination of the words and exposits the culture meanings of the words.This paper consists of eight parts: In the preface, this paper will introduce present research situation and how to make research about the paper. The first part will introduce the main conditions of the "Jin" part and classify the words according to their meanings. The second part to the sixth part will will make semantic research on "Jin" part of Shuowenjiezi. Finally, the paper will make a conclusion and introduce the cultural implications reflected by "Jin" part of Shuowenjiezi. Also it will show some examples about some special words.
