This paper mainly analyses Xiao Hong's two representative works of The Field of Life and Tale of Hulan River,Combined with Xiao Hong's own experience,the author take the theory of narratology as the analysis method,and Focus on analysising the basic survival situation and life value of "Human being" in Xiao Hong 's Poverty Writing.The first chapter,the author analyzes the poor life of Xiao Hong,which makes her literary creation unconsciously penetrate her feelings of poverty,at the same time,as a woman,she knows the pain of women,so her poverty writing was particularly prominent in the uniqueness of women's poverty:The self limitation of female body and the oppression of male to female.the second chapter,the author research the representation of material poverty and spiritual poverty in Chinese northeast rural area,by using the narrative time to strengthen the narrative space,Xiao Hong not only depicts the poor villagers tragic situation in lacking the basic survival material,but also highlights the fact that they lack the subject consciousness of "Human Being" as a result of material deprivation.The third chapter,the author analyses that Xiao Hong's poverty writing not only inherit and carry forward the focus on "Human Being"since "the May 4th Movement",she also demonstrate the beauty of human and re-examine the Hulan River local folk culture,restore the complexity of folk,and thinking about the possibility of awakening the poor people.Focusing on the poor people,Xiao Hong not only reveals the difficulty for the poverty peasants to win in the class resistance,but also digs out the Peasants strong will of life and the awakening of the subject consciousness,which indicates that Xiao Hong's thought of "Enlightenment".
