The Image Of "Youth" In The New Period Of Literature

This thesis back upon the original stage of new period literature,mainly takes the winning novels in Chinese National Excellent Short Story Award from 1978 to 1981 as the study text,to analyze Youth Image in this period literature.The first chapter,analysis of the advent of youth personal space,is to discuss'modernization' historical logic in what ways integrate young people's love,interests,tastes and other secular desire.On the basis of that,the second chapter discusses how individual youth face new social difference.Three groups of relations:mental Labor and physical Labor,intellectuals and the masses of workers and peasants,city and village were reconstructed in modern logic.The third chapter discusses that historical scar was symbolically cured.Youth reshape self-worth,back to the inner world,give up the reflection and criticism of the outside order.After the representative Discussion about'Pan Xiao',young people take 'ego' as their destination.This historical scheme based on the'ego'exposed the 'modernization' framework,which overcame the crisis of socialism and produced new crisis at the same time.
