The Transition Of Female Images In Chinese-introduced Japanese TV Series

Since the 1980s,having lifted frenzy,and also encountered troughs,the Japanese drama has been introduced to China for more than 30 years.Whether it is official respected or sought after folk,Japanese TV series with its unique artistic charm have been attracting the attention of many Chinese audiences.Many different styles of typical female images also have impressed Chinese audiences.The choice of Chinese-introduced Japanese TV Series is based on Chinese social reality,with the realistic portrayal of China's social significance.The images of women in TV series can reflect the social role of women,and also affect the social cognition of women.Japanese TV series that broadcast on Chinese television in different periods are the epitome of Chinese society in different periods,reflecting the ideal woman standards that Chinese society respects and value judgments in the specific period.This paper put the analysis of the transition of female images in Chinese-introduced Japanese TV Series under the overall framework of Chinese-introduced overseas TV series,and take the Japanese TV series that broadcast on Chinese television station as the main research object.By combing all the Chinese-introduced Japanese TV Series since the 1980s,choosing 55 Japanese TV series and 67 major female images of the play which were the most representative to conduct text examinations and content analysis,summarizing the characteristics of the transition of female images,and connecting with the transition in the multiple contexts of China's political discourse,social context and cultural tradition in the past 40 years,this paper may be able to analyze the main reasons for the transition of female images and then further explore the relationship between the portray of female images and Chinese social transitionThe study found that the female images in Chinese-introduced Japanese TV Series have experienced three major stages:in the 1980s,it was dominated by optimistic and tough traditional women;in the 1990s,it was dominated by urban women who were brave in the pursuit of true love;the images of women in the first ten years of the 21st century were more diverse,women at that time tend to be independent and free but also restricted by the traditional ethics,and plus since 2012,the female images of online broadcast Japanese TV series showed more prominent individual consciousness,stressed the attitude that women want to live bravely according to their own wishes.In general,from tradition to modern,from single to plural,the female images in Chinese-introduced Japanese TV Series have become more complex and richer.They gradually get out of the family,and moved towards the society,their female consciousness had gradually got improved.They dare to resist fate,and pursue the life that they want actively,demonstrating the independence of female personality and self-worth.There is inextricably link between Chinese-introduced Japanese TV Series and the Chinese national leading cultural form,reflecting the complex relationship between the mainstream culture,mass culture and the minority culture.The female images in Japanese TV series fit Chinese mainstream ideology and the social ethical values in different times.In the premise that modern women follow the traditional morality,the national discourse on modern women should have vitality of ideological emancipation and show the spirit of independence.
