With the deepening of the exchanges and cooperation between China and foreign countries, China's ecological and environmental problems have gradually become the focus of the world. The documentary Rhythm of The Forest shows the magic and beauty of the forest in our country, as well as the harmony and symbiosis between human,animal and forest. If it is translated into English, it will be conducive to let the world understand the real Chinese ecological civilization, of which Populus euphratica forest in the desert, Towering trees in the snowfield and Echo of the rain forest respectively aims at three different types forest,which are very representative. Therefore,the author chooses these three sets of documentaries to carry out the practice consecutive interpreting and takes the performance of translation process as an example to analyze the problems such as the improper translation strategy and mid-term problems which are existed in the translation process and reflect the whole process faithfully.This paper consists of three parts: introduction,main body and conclusion. Its main contents are as follows:The first part is the introduction, including the research background and the value of realistic meaning of the Rhythm of The Forest.The second part is the main body,which consists of three chapters.Chapter One mainly introduces the task, it introduces the background of the Rhythm of The Forest and the contents of the three selected material,as well as the basic demands required in consecutive interpreting.Chapter Two focuses on the process description. It covers the preparation process before the practice and plan making. It also contains quality control planning.Chapter Three is the core to this report,it briefly introduces several types of problems and analyses some examples. Consecutive interpreting approach and other strategies are applied to solve problems, such as free interpreting, conversion of parts of speech of words, sentence pattern and voice, rewriting as well as note-taking strategy.The last part is the conclusion, which makes a summary of the problems and problem-solving strategies that used in the practice, it also points out the deficiencies remaining in the practice. Through interpreting Rhythm of The Forest, the author digs into the problems that have been pointed out and summarizes the experiences and lessons,the author collects much valuable experience which is significant for the future interpreting work.
