In the work of colleges and universities,counselors are bearers of information and task execution,lay an important foundation for the development of the school,their emotional state and hope level will directly affect the quality of the work and the student's education management,are the important factors that affect college counselors can take positive work attitude and behavior.With the rise of positive psychology,scholars began to focus on the positives of people,job involvement and job burnout gradually replaced become the core of organizational behavior,it is not only a measure of work attitude and behavior index,is an important factor to predict the individual health level.Therefore,the work of college counselors is worthy of attention and research.This study based on The Affective Events Theory(AET)and The Broaden and Build Theory(B&B),from the perspective of dynamic within-person variability in work engagement.we explored the relationships among College Counselors' emotion,hope and work engagement on a daily level.We used Diary Methods and investigated 70 college counselors for two consecutive weeks(10 days of work)of the diary tracking survey,and we got 670 within-person questionnaires.The results of multi-level analysis showed:(1)The work engagement,characlerized by a dynamic variation,were affected by within-subject factors.(2)The positive mood of College Counselors in the morning has a significant positive predictive effect on work engagement in daily;The negative emotion of College Counselors in the morning has a significant negative predictive effect on the work engagement in daily;(3)Positive emotions have a positive predictive effect on hope;Negative emotions have a negative predictive effect on hope;(4)The hope has a significant positive predictive effect on work engagement in daily;(5)Hope partially mediated the positive relationship between the positive emotion in the morning and both of the work engagement in daily;Hope completely mediated the positive relationship between the negative emotion in the morning and both of the work engagement in daily.
