With the rapid development of society and the deepening of economic system reform, the knowledge economy, information technology, networking and other factors have led to significant changes to our living environment. Adolescence is the period the youth transit from immature to mature, however, adolescents can not completely get rid of dependence, timidity, childishness, and want to be independent, mature and sophisticated. The contradictory mentality makes teenagers easy to fall into depression,anxiety, rebellion, autism, and has a negative effect on the adolescents' mental health. At the same time, young people's mental health is significant not only to their own, but also to the family happiness and social stability.This paper is based on the theories of psychology,statistics and sociology. Using the method of comparative analysis and qualitative and quantitative to study the influencing factors of adolescent mental health. The empirical analysis is based on the data of Chinese education tracing survey (CEPS) on 2014,using SPSS,EXCEL and AMOS software to analyze.The results show that the mental health status of adolescents in five groups are significant different, such as different gender, different age, only child or not, parental accompany or not, urban and rural areas. Secondly, the results showed that the two factors family objective environment and academic stress which had the greatest influence on the mental health of adolescents, school atmosphere and academic stress is the second, peer effect had minimal impact on the mental health. Therefore, family and school play a vital role on adolescents' mental health. Thirdly, comparing the different influencing factors of mental health between only child and non only child, we find that the influence of the family on the mental health of the only child is greater than that of the non only child, and the impact of the school atmosphere on the non only child is greater. Finally,on the basis of the previous study,this paper puts forward some opinions and suggestions from four aspects: the government, the school the family, the youth, in order to improve the overall level of mental health of adolescents.
