A Research On The Visual Design Of Adult Illustration Picture Book Under The Black Humor Perspective

The study takes the visual design of adult illustrations as research object,makes some innovation on the visual design of adult illustrations according to the market demand,and try to apply the theory of black humor to the visual representation of adult illustration.In the paper,the author takes the "chicken head" of the network story adaptation for the design object,"chicken head" tells the chicken in order to compete for the championship of the running game,and gradually lost their own instinct to fly,metaphor of some people living a blind life,gradually lost themselves.The author focuses on the consumer psychology and preferences of adult illustrations and integrates the visual language of the black humor,completed the visual representation design of the adult illustration "chicken head".The design provides a new way of thinking and design innovation for the future of the design practice of adult illustrations.According to the scope definition of the research and design of the subject,Demand research report mainly uses the following two ways to conduct market research: First,the author conducts some research on the domestic adult illustrations and analyzes the visual representation of outstanding domestic and foreign adult illustrations,then,does further analysis and comparative study on three aspects of adult illustrations—the theme,style and color.The results show that there are several problems in the current adult illustrations in the domestic market:(1)excellent adult illustrations account for less market share,and the scope of readers' selection is single and limited;(2)the visual design isn't rich enough that can not meet the needs of consumers.Second,the author conducts a questionnaire survey on 100 adult consumers,sums up the degree of the consumers' preference of the theme,style and color of adult illustrations and acceptance of the techniques of expression of black humor.These provide a creative point of entry and design direction for the design of this study.According to the requirements of the design,the author conducts some related theory research on the adult illustrations and black humor.On the one hand,the author does a systematical summary on a large number of literature,books and network information.On the other hand,the author applies black humor to the visual performance of the works.Then she sums up the visual characteristics of black humor:(1)small people,(2)very emotional,(3)visual weakening,and the advantages of the techniques of expression.The conclusion of the study provides a reference for the visual expression design of adult illustrations,which supplies theoretical support to the visual representation design of adult illustrations from the perspective of black humor.The design practice report conveys a detailed description of the design process.According to the visual design of adult illustrations from the perspective of black humor,this study takes the network story "chicken head" as the carrier,and does some visual expression design.The results of the market research and the visual expression of the black humor guide the design of the study,mainly including the main character model design,color expression design,fonts design,illustration binding design,creative derivatives design.
