The complementation of Confucianism and Taoism is the basic characteristics of Chinese traditional culture,as one of the pillars of Chinese culture,Taoism culture is far-reaching and meaningful. There are many researches on it.This paper is based on the document of Tao Teh Ching.Through the interpretation of Lao-Tzu's “nature” and logical reasoning,we are trying to consider its rationality and contemporary value from the philosophical perspective.Philosophy is the essence of the spirit of the times,no matter what thought it is has its social foundation,Lao-Tzu's thought is not exceptional, through the analysis of Lao-Tzu's era,we can find Lao-Tzu's thought was deeply marked by the brand of times. The “nature” in Lao-Tzu,on the one hand,is the embodiment of metaphysical Tao.On the other hand,is a state of existence of all things, the nature connected with metaphysical Tao and all things. In this paper,in order to further prove the rationality of the idea of nature,we first clarify the meaning of nature. Then from the foundation of philosophy level, metaphysical level, experience level to demonstrate the “nature”.After demonstrating the legitimacy of the natural thought, that involves the problem how to achieve the state of natural realm? The answer to this question is: 1?the inaction of the “Tao” follows the nature of all things.2?The sage of doing nothing is natural to the people. And so can achieve harmony and freedom of the state. In this way,a complete “nature” system is built up.However, how to make the thought of “nature” suit to the needs of the contemporary society? This is the main challenge. As for this question,Some reasearchers simply combine the theory with the fact, resulting in the disjunction between theory and practice. Therefore, how to solve the question will be the meaning of my research.
