Don Delillo is one of the most outstanding American Post-modernist writers. So far, he has written 16 novels(Omega Pointis the fifteenth one).his works not only attracted lots of reader fans around the world, but also enjoyed a high reputation in the academic circles. Most of his works mainly reflected the American society and life in the postindustrial era, especially focus on how the mass media, consumer culture and ideology of human thought acted on the behavior, emotional and psychology. Obviously, Delillo's works have achieved very high success in the construction of the postmodern writing, including the typical black humor, irony, parody and so on. They clearly reflected the Politics, economy, culture, art and other aspects in contemporary America. They also reflected the dilemma of American Postmodern society from different angles. Inspired by Glass Gordon's film24 hour, which was treated with special image technology, treatment, Delillo created the novel Omega point---A novel with the characteristics of Post Modernism. Be different from the Viewpoints and perspectives of other papers which are to explore this novel, this paper focuses on the post-modernist writing and interpret this novel from these 3 aspects:1. The fragmentation and uncertainty of the content of the story. In this aspect, the paper analyzes the fragmentation of the story scenes, the uncertainty of the characters in this novel and the change and mixture of the ideological content.2. The uncertainty of narrative discourse. In this part, the paper expounds the nontraditional narrative in this novel from the perspective of the multiple narrative, the disconnected narrative time and space and the instability of the narrative perspective.3. The across among the boundaries of the art categories:the amalgamation and composition between text and image. This novel is influenced by the movie "24 hours", which is created on the base of "fright". This paper analyzes how Delillo established the connection between text and image and the crucial role of the movie in this novel.
