The Effectiveness Study Of Pavilion-oriented Visual Symbols Based On The World Informatization Perspective

This thesis focuses on the oriented-information symbols of pavilion guide system. Through the inspection, the analysis and the research of different pavilions, especially pavilions of Fine Arts, this thesis tries to show how the oriented-information symbols convey information effectively.The function of oriented-information symbols is to convey guiding information to visitors. Therefore, this thesis analyzes and studies the construction of the oriented-information symbols based on the connection of information design and oriented-information symbols. The organic relationships between oriented-information symbols and the pavilion or the visitors influence the effectiveness of information conveying of oriented-information symbols. Meanwhile, this thesis tries to discuss the existing problems of guiding system design in China compared with Europe and America in order to get some effective solutions. The good examples that this thesis will analyze not only include that of foreign countries but of our own country, which shows the development of China's guiding system design. The integration of oriented-information system and Science and Technology, which also shows a tendency towards diversified information, for example, the combination of smart phone application and the oriented-information symbols of pavilion guide system. The thesis will give some personal opinion about this topic, which may offer some basis for practice and theory research in the future.
