Research On ’the Quasi-objects’ After The Verbs

The quantifier of’the quasi-objects’ after verbs includes three elements that are the verbal measure words after the verbs, time measure words after the verbs and the quantifier after the adjective. Until now, there are five points about the syntactic state of these three quantifier of ’the quasi-objects’, including quasi-objects, true objects, objects and attributes, complements and the single clause. This dissertation illustrates the issue of the syntactic state of the quantifier of ’the quasi-objects’ after verbs and finds the consistency between the quantifier of ’the quasi-objects’ after verbs and the complements after the verbs by comparing the quantifier of ’the quasi-objects’ after verbs with the objects after the verbs and the complement after the verbs, which could classify the quantifier of ’the quasi-objects’ after verbs into the complements and replace the confusing concept of’quasi-’. The clear understanding of the ’quasi-’ is likely to facilitate the research of the Chinese language and the Chinese language teaching.Firstly, The dissertation illustrates the concept of the quantifier of ’the quasi-objects’ after verbs and summarizes the research status of the quantifier of ’the quasi-objects’after verbs, describing the research meaning and method. Secondly, the quantifier of ’the quasi-objects’ after verbs are divided into three elements that are, namely, the verbal measure words after the verbs, time measure words after the verbs and the quantifier after the adjective. The verbal measure words after the verbs and the time measure words after the verbs which are put into the language structure are compared with the noun measure words after the verbs from the aspects of the semantic and the form to find the similarities and the differences. Then, The verbal measure words after the verbs and the time measure words after the verbs put into the language structure are compared with the complement after the verbs from the aspects of the semantic and the form to find the similarities and the differences. Finally, we compare the quantifier of the objects after the adjectives with the quantifier of the objects after the verbs and the degree complements after the adjectives from the aspects of the semantic and the form and find the consistency between the verbal measure objects after the adjectives and the degree complements after the adjectives, so the verbal measure objects after the adjectives should be relocated into the complement.The conclusion is that since there is consistency between the quantifier of ’the quasi-objects’ after verbs and the complements after the verbs, the quantifier of ’the quasi-objects’ after verbs can be classified into the complements.
