Research On The Protection Planning Of Famous Villages In Historical Culture In Huangpi District

As one of the four great ancient civilizations,China has experienced numerous changes of dynasties and constant drifting of destiny,yet the nation's inherent and photogenes culture has lasted till now.All these culture heritages thrived vigorously within long history of 5000 years and massive land of 9,6 million square kilometers.Among these culture heritages,apart from those intensively localized in national and provincial famous cities in historical culture,a considerable proportion of them are scattered in the numerous famous towns and villages in historical culture,or even simply those ordinary villages.However since China is a nation with the core of agricultural civilization,in both mental and cultural level,there exists the complex of thinking twice before resettlement.Therefore,those culture heritages were reserved in the form of traditional regional cultures,diversified folk customs and varied architectural styles,reflecting the sequence of social development and the process of historical culture development.They are the reflection of the living,production and construction activities in specific areas and historical stages,as well as precious heritages from ancestors.Because of these,the historical culture villages stand a crucial position in the nation's historical heritage protection system.From the year 2003,the Ministry of housing and urban rural development(previously Ministry of development)appraised and elected six batches of famous towns in historical culture and six batches of famous villages in historical culture,scattered in 31 provinces,directly-controlled municipalities and autonomous regions.They are all towns or villages rich in preserved culture relics,possessing traditional styles and regional features that are historically meaningful and representative in certain historical periods.They stand for the evolution and historical progress of settlements in different races,regions and economic-social development stages,accurately record the conventional folk-customs,traditional architectural technologies and styles,as well as original spatial forms and ancient feng-shui structures.They have great application potential and research values.In the 20 year's of Chineseeconomic reformation,the preservation of historical culture heritage has developed dramatically.To preserve the historical culture heritage has reached public consensus,becoming an essential political work of people's governments in different levels,and the scholars' research into it has become increasingly deep.However,with the trend of economic development,driven by the benefits from various aspects,many villages with great value in historical culture has been affected by the social development and environmental deterioration.They are suffering from the tremendous damage incurred by un-rational planning and over-commercialization.During this process,a great deal of villages either took the way of repeatedly reconstruction and commercializing fake antique industry,or a way of developing completely ignoring scientific preservation of the historical environment,while some even totally tear apart the reservation of historical heritage and the current development in economy,society and culture.All those methods of preservation have created damages to the structures and features of those traditional villages somewhat,leading to many losses to those heritages.Therefore,the planning and research work of the traditional villages' reservation is of great urgency.The preservation of a traditional village is not only for a single old buildting or a single well,as every old village has its inherent cultural influence and soils which lives rely on.Therefore the preservation of a traditional village should be one from all different aspects.Both those visible cultural heritages and intangible cultural heritages should be protected,not only on the entity of heritage itself,but also on the restoration of the natural environment,artificial environment and cultural environment.The Government of Huangpi District has divided the preservation of these villages in the categories of state level,provincial level and city level,and simultaneously the categories of construction features,heritage relics and revolution relics,etc.Following these divisions,the author picked three famous villages in historical culture(Dayu Bay,Luojiagang Village and Yaojia Mountain)for analysis and research.Since the preservation standard for villages varies from category to category,planners need to adjust the measures to local conditions.This paper presented a integratedsystematic research and categorization study of the famous villages in historical culture in Huangpi district,indicating to establish a reference for the planning,research and development of similar historical culture in Huangpi district.
