In 50 years history of simultaneous interpretation,there is no time when this career is more needed than now.So far,simultaneous interpretation has 50-year history.With the accelerating integration of the world economy,China's foreign communication in economy and culture has also increased.Especially with “One Belt and One Road”initiative and the establishment of AIIB,China will organize more and more international meetings.Excellent interpreters are needed eagerly by those international conferences.The quality of interpretation must meet international standard.However,information loss in simultaneous interpretation is always the most troublesome problem for interpreters.Information gap,incomplete meaning of the expression,has a direct impact on the quality of the conference,and also affect the credibility of organizations and individual interpreters.Based on the author's experience of simultaneous interpretation,author gives a brief analysis of information loss in simultaneous interpretation and gives proper solutions.When preparing the translation before the conference,author did many researches.According to the text type theory of Newmark,author will forecast the text type of conference.Due to this forecast,author will prepare the corresponding interpreting strategies to different features of different texts.In this paper,the cause of information loss in simultaneous interpretation has been explored one by one based on author's own interpreting experience,and some proper translation strategies are worked out based on case analysis.My purpose of this paper is to propose solutions to the problem of the information loss in simultaneous interpretation to help the interpreter to behave better and finish the interpretation task excellently to improve the quality of the conference finally.
