Along with the rise of creative economy on a global scale and developed countries gradually transforming from traditional industrial society to knowledge economy.China put more emphasis on the development of creative economy.Creative goods trade became an important means to facilitate economic growth,changed the mode of development and strengthened national competitiveness.China is already a major producer and exporter of creative goods in the world.According to the UNCTAD database,Chinese total volume of creative product import and export achieved S165.378 billion in 2012.with an average annual growth rate of 16.7%,far higher than China's GDP.However.I found that the export market of Chinese creative products was comparatively concentrated,given priority to developed economy like European and American countries,market share in Asia was very small except for Hong Kong and Japan.To make our creative products go global,we have to devote major efforts to develop diversified target market.With countries paying more attention to regional cooperation,regional economic integration has also become the main trend in our development of foreign trade in the world context.The ongoing Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership agreements(RCEP)will further enhance the Economic integration degree among the intra-regional members,promote economy stability and prosperity and provide advantageous conditions for expanding our creative goods exports.Figures showed that China's creative goods exported to RCEP countries took up smaller share of total exports than the United States and the European Union,but presented a marked rising trend.From 2003 to 2012,the annual growth rate of China's creative goods export to RCEP countries was higher than its total amount of creative goods export.This suggested that China's creative goods had great export potential for RCEP countries.Under economic transformation and industrial structure upgrade and optimization,China is in the period of strategy opportunity.In the face of challenges brought by knowledge economy and globalization,to get a better position in global industrial structure adjustment and division of labor,we have to enhance the competitiveness of creative goods trade constantly,strengthen the protection of intellectual right and consolidate develop new trade partners.In this paper,I adopt the following two methods.First,combining quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis,using tables and charts to analyze our export scale,market structure and product structure to RCEP countries and find the problems;Second,combining of theoretical analysis and empirical research.On the basis of possible influential factors referred in the reference literatures and actual situation,I established an extended gravity model and conducted empirical tests for panel data of Chinese creative goods export to RCEP countries from 2003 to 2012.In order to promote Chinese creative products export to RCEP countries,the article put forward countermeasures and suggestions after completing the analysis.This paper will be divided into the following six chapters:Chapter 1 is the introduction,including the background,influence,methods and main contents,summarized the definition and category of creative goods,briefly explained our trading situation,regional economic integration in the RCEP and effect of trade and the factors influencing the creative goods trade,provided references and pointed out the innovations and shortcomings.Chapter 2 is about related theory.This chapter summarizes the relevant economic theory and provide theoretical support for this article.Chapter 3 is the analysis about present situation.Based on the analysis of China's creative product export to RCEP countries,there are problems like market concentration,imbalance in the structure of products and low value-added products.The comparative analysis of competitiveness index explained that although China's competitiveness is strong as a whole,but the competitiveness of the technology and knowledge intensive creative products is relatively low,mainly relied on labor-intensive products export.Chapter 4 is about theoretical analysis.From political,economic,social,geographical and cultural aspects,analyzes possible factors influencing creative products exports and provide logical foundation for following analysis.Chapter 5 is the empirical analysis.On the basis of theoretical analysis,I established new gravity model to analyze panel data from 2003 to 2012.Results indicated that the number of Internet users,the present situation of trade arrangements and the degree of maintenance of intellectual property rights in our country are important and positive to creative commodities export;geographic distance and cultural distance between China and the importer,the size of the market have negative effects.Chapter 6 is about the main conclusions and suggestions.Combining RCEP negotiations background,in order to promote China's creative products exports to the region,I put forward feasible countermeasures and suggestions from different angles.
